1. Log Into Facebook
In order to create a Facebook page for your business, you’ll first need a personal account. If you haven’t done so, then this is your first step.Â
2. Click the Pages icon
Once you’re logged into your personal Facebook account, you’ll see a Pages icon as shown above.Â
3. Click Create
Click Create under Pages and Profile on the left hand-side of the page. You’ll see this view on desktop only. If you’re on your mobile device, you’ll simple see a tab that displays “+ Create”.Â
4. Enter the required fields
Enter your page name (use your business name). You’ll then need to enter the category for your business. The bio is optional but you can always enter this later if you’re not sure what to enter at the time of creating your page.Â
5. Enter your business details
Enter the important details for customers to contact you, such as your business address, phone number and website.Â
6. Click Create Page
Once all the previous steps have been completed, you’re ready to create your new Facebook page for your business!Â
7. Customize your page
Make your website stand out with a professional profile picture and cover photo. Depending on your business type, you may want to use your professional headshot as your profile photo.Â
8. Click Save
That’s it! you’ve successfully created your Facebook profile for your business. Be sure to click Save to go to your page. The next step is to start creating engaging content for your target audience.Â
